About La Mikaëla
La Mikaëla is an enticing singer and songwriter form Montreal. She captivates audiences with her soulful voice and mesmerizing performances. Her passion for music and dedication to her craft shine through in every note, creating an unforgettable experience for her listeners.
La Mikaëla's music is a fusion of various genres, her education in jazz at the renown École de Musique Vincent d'Indy being a large source of influence in her compositions. She also plays around with funk, pop and folk sounds, weaving together powerful storytelling through her crafeully thought out lyrics and emotive melodies.

She is passionate about vocal technique, and has followed Estill Voice Training methods since 2018. She also works as a vocal coach herself with multiple students.
Graduate from Recording Arts Canada in 2024, Mikaëla also works as a recording and mixing engineer in Montreal, moving between studio and live settings.
She is currently composing on her first full lenght album whilst working in Montreal music scene, in a variety of different fields.
Singer-songwriter, MIKAËLA melodiously blends funk influences to soulful R&B with jazz and folk tunes, all while wandering the MTL music scene.
Teaching jazz singing at Vincent d'Indy in 2019, I had the opportunity to count Mikaëla Kirschenbaum among my students. I discovered many qualities in her. Mikaëla is a rigorous, dynamic and talented student. She has always demonstrated real enthusiasm and involvement within her cohort during her DEC in music.
